Weber State forward Dillon Jones made the pinned tweet on his personal Twitter account seem prophetic Sunday afternoon when he accidently struck a referee while celebrating a made basket.

The inadvertent fist pump-turned-punch knocked Mountain West official Rick Batsell to the floor and kept him there for several minutes, per the Idaho Statesman . Jones was not penalized for the incident. In fact, he took a free throw after Batsell got back to his feet because his score had come through contact.

“Done alot of things I regret, just learned from it,” reads Jones’ pinned post from 2017 .

He will no doubt temper his celebrations moving forward.

Jones, a freshman, hails from Columbia, S.C. His violent scoring drive came early in Weber State’s contest against Boise State.

Batsell is one of several officials to take unexpected hits over the past month. A high school football referee in Texas was recently shoved to the turf by an ejected player, leading to an assault charge, and an NFL official was trampled by a Dolphins defensive back .

Batsell was able to finish officiating the Weber State-Boise State game following his fall.
